FEAR OF FAILURE
Find yourself putting off things, refuse to set goals or deadlines, avoid committing to things publicly, find the most bizarre excuses why you cant do a thing?
Maybe your just scared..
And thats ok, we are here to change that.
Martial arts and especially the BJJ/grappling/wrestling competitive styles (i personally believe) offer a great way out of this mindset. Others to but in a much harder way such a Muay Thai and the striking arts (but im not at an age for that craziness now) Respect to those who do.
Through friendly competitive training, winning and losing your ego takes a rinsing, your humility takes a polishing and your team comradeship takes a boost.
All in all these things elevate you from that place of fear, that place that will hold you back unless conquered or at least taken on and challenged. Deep down you know who you want to be, what you want to achieve but fear of failure manifests in the subconscious and can appear to be many other things with a range of excuses and answers and automatic responses developed to protect oneself from that dreaded FAILURE
YOU ONLY HAVE YOURSELF TO BEAT THE REST IS JUST TRAININGShare
